His Holiness Swami Dayananada Saraswati is an outstanding scholar and teacher in the line of traditional teachers of Vedanta. At various international platforms, he has been emphasizing the need for the harmony and co-existence of different religions of the world.
He has taught in India and abroad for over three decades. Swamiji has been designing and teaching courses in Vedanta and Sanskrit for individual seekers, families and sanyasis at the four Arsha Vidya Gurukulams - at Rishikesh, Nagpur, Coimbatore in India, and Pennsylvania in USA. These courses have produced several qualified teachers who have set up centers in various parts of India and abroad.
One such center is the Arsha Vidya Kendra, Bangalore. It was founded by Pujya Swamiji in December 1993 and is a center (Kendra) for imparting the knowledge (Vidya) which has come down to us from rishis (Arsha).
The resident Acharya (teacher) Swami Sadatmananda Saraswati conducts classes for adults and children. The Kendra was registered as a Trust under his chairmanship in May 2000.
