Anna Seva

The Vision

There are various eminent manifestations (vibhutis) of the Lord in the universe and the digestive fire in all beings is one of them. This is what the Lord says in the Bhagavadgita, I am residing in the bodies of all beings as the digestive fire, Vaishvanara (Chapter 15.14). As a gesture of worshipping the Lord in this form, the Arsha Vidya Kendra Trust, Bangalore under the inspiring guidance of Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati has been running a meal program called Vaishvanara Anna Seva Yojana since Jan 2003. This program is a part of the Aim for Seva.

The Programs

The meal programs are run at three venues. It is supervised by the volunteers of the Trust under the guidance of Swami Sadatmananda, the resident acharya of Arsha Vidya Kendra, Bangalore.
